What is the Sunday morning meeting like?
Our meeting starts promptly at 9:00 am with an opening Scripture reading, which is typically related to the sermon. After prayer led by an elder, we sing together accompanied by piano, electronic keyboard, flute and sometimes other instruments. We use ancient songs, familiar songs, and new songs. Lyrics are projected on the front wall, and printed lyric sheets are also available. Occasionally we have either the children's choir or adult choir present a special song to the Lord.
Following our singing together, our preacher presents the morning sermon. We follow a verse-by-verse expository style with hearty application for contemporary hearers. Please be sure to bring your Bible so you can follow along with the study.
We conclude our Sunday morning meeting with testimonies from the congregation, prayer requests, service opportunities, receiving of the offering, and concluding prayer.
Sunday School for all ages follows the morning meeting.
