Student Ministry

Rooted: Student Ministry

Rooted together in His love, growing in His image, spreading His glory

Our student ministry consists of grades 7 - 12. We also offer a time of discipleship for 5th & 6th graders called, "Disciples Path", once a month.

Just like every ministry at Katy Bible Church, our goal for the student ministry is to raise mature believers in Christ who are connected to the body of Christ. In the student ministry, we seek to do that by connecting students to other students their age and teaching them in a way that fits to their unique context as students. Our desire is that together they would be rooted in the love of Christ, grow in to His image and proclaim His glory.

Ephesians 3:17-19, "That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of God.

If you are interested in attending any events, volunteering or would simply like more information, please see Matt Lear or fill out the contact form at the bottom of the page.

Sunday School: At 9:00am students (grades 7-12) meet in the portable building. The group is studying The Gospel Project Student Curriculum. The student curriculum is the same curriculum the rest of the church is studying but at a level geared towards students. We encourage parents to attend the "Adults with Children at Home" class located in the Fellowship Hall.

Rooted - Wednesday Nights: Middle and high school students (grades 7-12) meet on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30 in the portable building at KBC. This time consists of fellowship, music and Bible study. This Spring, we are exploring the book of Ecclesiastes and asking the question, "Where are YOU going?"

We leave some Wednesday nights free in order to allow for more family time, those nights are noted in the schedule below. If you would like more information, please fill out the contact form.
