Strengthening Faith in Middle & High School Students

Rooted Student Ministry exists to help middle and high school students become deeply rooted in Christ and His Word. Through biblical teaching, meaningful relationships, prayer, worship, service, and plenty of fun, our desire is to see students know Christ, grow in His likeness, and make Him known.

"...so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,..."

Ephesians 3:17

Rooted is for students in 6th–12th grade.

Sunday School

Sunday School happens every Sunday at 9:00 AM. Students study God's Word together, enjoy breakfast, discuss the lesson, and spend time in prayer.

Midweek

Our students enjoy a meal, fellowship, games, biblical teaching, singing, and small-group prayer led by our volunteers.

DNOW - Winter Retreat

Each year, Rooted hosts DNOW, a two-night winter retreat that helps students grow in their faith and relationships with one another. Guys and girls stay in separate homes hosted by trusted church members and come together throughout the weekend for biblical teaching, worship, fellowship, games, and our annual citywide scavenger hunt.

Summer Retreat

Each June, Rooted students spend four nights away together for our annual Summer Retreat. Throughout the week, we study God's Word, sing His praises, enjoy games and activities, and spend time growing together in fellowship. Students stay together at a retreat facility with plenty of opportunities for both fun and meaningful time together.
